The company is set up to buy excess inventories and pays for them with building materials including doors, mouldings, tile, pavers, brick, lighting, and other specialty items. The company's first market was Jamaica, where we purchased Blue Mountain coffee with excess building materials from the US market. Ruffin Trading Company chooses to use building materials as leverage, or basic form of stock and payment on international transactions as these items represent basic human needs and we can depend on their liquidity anywhere in the world.
